By Jubi Gloria

From the Gold Coast to present-day Ghana,  the natives of the land have enjoyed music from all genres and the souls of these great people are craving more edifying songs. Consequently, the leaders of the Bono Region in Ghana have come up with the Bono Artist Awards to honour hard-working underground artists.

One musician who is hoping to get some recognition for his work at the Bono Artist Awards is hiplife nominees J.K Mensah known in music circles as StoneFruit. During an Interacting, he expressed gratitude for the attempt to recognise the work of young artists.
Since great artistry is driven by inspiration we asked StoneFruit what fuels his creativity. He said his inspiration comes from mother nature.
StoneFruit's newly released single "I Need You" was composed after he observed how great love ignites the soul.

Stonefruit said the Bono Artist Awards is a great initiative and it must be sustained to motivate more upcoming artists to go for gold.

The awards ceremony was launched on Chocolate Day, also known as Valentine's Day with 26 artists nominated across different music genres.
The Bono Region's music industry is indeed showing signs of renewed vibrancy with the Bono Artist Awards.
