By Jubi Gloria

The colourful induction service of the Secretary Of Synod of the Methodist Diocese Sunyani, Very Rev. Dr Solomon Bruce, was attended by the Bono Regional Minister, Justina Owusu-Banahene and other Government officials, Nananom as well as the Methodist Clergy.

During an interview moments after his induction, Very Rev. Dr Solomon Bruce challenged the two major political parties set to vie for power this year to prove to Ghanaians they want the power to genuinely resolve challenges confronting Ghana.

He said the two major political parties aiming for power have been administrators of the country before.  He therefore challenged the NPP to defend with results why they want to break the eight and added that the NDC must equally prove to Ghanaians why they want to come back to power.

The Very Rev. Dr Solomon Bruce, also said Ghanaians must ask questions and judge the answers with their votes come election day. He also advised Ghanaians to be mindful that no party is bigger than the nation and no one's interests supersede that of the nation.

The Clergyman is pleading with all Ghanaians to do their utmost to protect the peace of the land while cautioning the  Electoral Commission to be fair, frank and firm in the execution of its mandate.
